About Chloe
I began my musical journey at age 6 taking piano lessons in my hometown of Wildwood, MO. By the time I was in 5th grade, it was time to pick instruments for band class. I went to the instrument try-out, quickly realizing flute was the only instrument I could make a sound on (thankfully I also loved it), and the rest is history.

After joining honor bands and youth orchestras in the St. Louis area, I fell in love with classical music and decided when I was just 13 that I wanted to have a career in music, and since then it has been an exciting journey. I received my bachelor's degree in flute from the University of Kansas, and most recently my master's degree from the University of Southern California.

I have had many wonderful teachers including Catherine Ransom-Karoly, Daniel Velasco, Jennifer Nitchman, and Jalene Huang, all who have encouraged me along the way and given me wonderful advice that I now have the privilege to share with my own students here in Seal Beach, CA and all over the country online. I love playing for my two most frequent audience members, my cats Oliver and Penny, and spending some time in the sun at the beach near my home.
